Drawn from diverse fields—education, ministry, fundraising, and enterprise leadership—this team combines spiritual conviction with proven experience to bring the Academy’s mission to life. United by a common purpose, they are laying the foundation for a Christ-centered school that will inspire generations of students to pursue wisdom, live with purpose, and fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
BILL RYAN
Co-Founder
Bill is a senior executive with a multibillion-dollar private company based in Wisconsin. He brings years of experience in scaling large complex multi-national operations.
DR. DENNIS EPISCOPO
Co-Founder
Dr. Episcopo has served in Pastoral ministry for over 40 years and has a passion leading and teaching people in “Soul First” Living. He is the founder and lead fund raiser of two large churches which have scaled to over 5000 active and 7000 who call it their church home.
Kip Golden
Capital Team
Kip Golden is a lifelong entrepreneur and community builder. He brings experience in fundraising, development, and relationship building to help ensure the Comenius Academy capital campaign fulfills its mission and vision.
ROD BOHM
Experience Team
Rod is an educator, principal, and mentor with 37 years of leadership excellence. He is a nationally recognized leader and leadership coach. Rod leads our Experience Team designing a world-class student experience.

Facilities Team
Marty is retired from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and co-leads the Comenius Building Team. He has experience leading multiple large facility projects and managing teams.
STEVE WEILAND
Facilities Team
Steve is retired from a Fortune 500 consumer products company as a project engineer and manager for facilities expansions. He co-leads the Comenius Building Team.
Mark Ver Voort
Project Executive
Boldt® is a national construction company based in Appleton Wisconsin with deep experience in building Pre-K-12 public schools to prestigious universities. Boldt is the lead design-build partner for Comenius.
JODY ANDRES
Sr. Project Architect
Hoffman has designed more than 75 schools of all sizes over the past 35 years with expertise in bringing world-class design to education. Hoffman, in partnership with Boldt, is the lead architect for Comenius
